How to update R4isdhc Dual-core card to work on 3DS V4.5.0-10 or DSi V1.4.5

R4isdhc Dual-core card is compatible for 3DS XL, 3DS, DSi, DS Lite. The latest R4isdhc Dual-core card is compatible with 3DS V4.5.0-10 or DSi V1.4.5. If your R4isdhc Dual-core card can not work on your 3DS V4.5.0-10 or DSi V1.4.5, and it shows “An error has occurred, press and hold the power button to turn the system off, please refer to the operations manual for details. ”, then you can try to update your R4i sdhc Dual-core card.

You can upgrade your R4i sdhc Dual-core card with a DS Lite as below:

Step 2: Unzip these two files and open the two folders

Step 3: Copy the content of the folders into the root directory of your MicroSD card.

Step 6: Click the update patch file and start updating

3DS Not Recognize/Detect Supercard Dstwo?

Some Supercard Dstwo users said that their SC Dstwo can work great on their DSi. They have download the latest EOS  and firmware in their Micro SD card. But when they put the Dstwo in their 3DS console, it can not show anything. Why can not 3DS detect or recognize the Supercard Dstwo?

One of the reason is that their Supercard Dstwo need to be upgraded to work on 3DS console.  How to update the Supercard Dstwo for 3DS?

Actually it is not a complex process to upgrade your Dstwo for 3DS. Here is some tips for you:

1.  Download the latest EOS V1.11  and firmware V1.19 of SC Dstwo ( official site: http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/download.htm)

2. Extract the folders and put the files into the root of your Micro SD card.

3.  Insert your SD card into your SC Dstwo, and put your Dstwo into your DS Lite.  (If you do not have a DS lite, you can borrow one from your friends.)

4. Turn on your DS lite and Press A to update.

After that, you can take out your Supercard Dstwo and put it into your 3DS console to see if it can work well on it.

First, go to http://www.acekard.com/download.php and download its latest kernel. You may need winrar/zip program to unzip this software.

Second, extract the RAR file with winrar/zip program. Then you will get these files, “_ak2”, “akmenu4.nds” and “release_note.txt”. Move these files into the root directory of your MicroSD card.

Third, remove your MicroSD card from your computer and put it into your AK2i. Then plug your Acekard 2i into your console.

How does 3K3Y Optical Disk Drive Emulator work? 

3k3y should be installed between the genuine Bluray drive and the PS3 motherboard. Once 3k3y is successfully installed and configured it can be used to make backups of your original PS3 game disks to USB media, and play those backups from USB media without the need of the original game disk.
